“There may be times when we are powerless to prevent injustice, but there must never be a time when we fail to protest.” ― Elie Wiesel
The Texas Pro-Life Action Team will be joining efforts with Pro-Life Waco, Protest ABQ and other groups around the nation in protesting organizations that financially support Planned Parenthood starting with a public protest in front of the Bank of America Plaza at 901 Main St. in downtown Dallas on Wednesday December 2nd from 11am - 1:00 pm. Bank of America includes Planned Parenthood in its 100% match program for its employees.
We are doing this for several reasons:
1) The outrage over the videos released by the Center for Medical Progress documenting not only the manipulation and oppression of women receiving services from Planned Parenthood, how abortionists change the type of procedure used in order to harvest the baby body parts they need (in violation of federal law) and also the very sick revelation of how aborted baby body parts are being sold to the highest bidder.
2) The work of the protests taking place already fits neatly with the mission of the Texas Pro-Life Action Team in utilizing public witness.
The protest on December 2nd kicks off a series of regular protests in Dallas and Fort Worth with the goal of encouraging Bank of America to stop donating funds to Planned Parenthood. These protests will be peaceful, non-violent and done in a spirit of prayer and sacrifice. We will bring signs so you don't have to.
It's obvious that Texans don't want or need Planned Parenthood and after our very successful summer protests which were attended by hundreds, this is the next step in publically raising awareness about the horrific crimes Planned Parenthood is committing and the need for organizations to stop funding them.
Come join us on December 2nd! Check out our Facebook event page for more information. Use the hastag #ProtestBOA.
